Clinic Policies

  • We require an active credit card on file to book sessions. You will not be charged for a free 15-minute consultation.
  • Cancellations require a 24-hour notice. Unless rescheduled, clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged 100% of the session fee to the card on file. It is understandable that circumstances may occur that are out of your control. Exceptions may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please let your therapist know as soon as possible and try to reschedule your session. Intentional verbal or physical threats or acts of violence/harassment will not be tolerated.

If you need immediate assistance, please:

  • Call 911 for emergency services (police, ambulance, fire)
  • Call your local 24-hr Distress Centre, or
  • Go to the nearest emergency department

Leah is a dedicated music therapist with over five years of experience helping individuals and groups harness the power of music for healing and connection. Growing up, music and performing has been a key passion in her life. Leah believes music has the power to provide opportunities for individuals to express themselves freely and creatively. Currently pursuing advanced training in counselling, she integrates a humanistic, person-centered approach to support clients in deepening self-awareness and strengthening relationships. Leah believes in the transformative power of creative expression and safe, attuned therapeutic relationships. She strives to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful change. My name is Elaine and I am a Counselling Therapist (CCC, ACTA) and Certified Music Therapist (MTA). I am here to support your mental health needs including, managing your emotions, feeling confident in your identity, and providing direction in times of change and transition. In our sessions, we may talk, sing, improvise, write, and listen to music. No previous musical training or experience necessary, just willing to do something different.

As an active musician and therapist, I have a deep understanding of how music affects people in different ways. My approach is humanistic and strengths-based. Your sessions will be personalized to meet your unique needs. I am also a Chinese-Canadian and an adult third-culture kid (TCK), navigating cultural nuances with humility and sensitivity.

In this safe, non-judgmental, and sometimes fun space, I am here to listen. I will also guide you through opportunities for change and growth as you are ready.
